Our Story
Providing safe and affordable water to left-out villages living in harsh geographical terrains has been at the heart of our co-founders’ vision for safe water for all in rural Malawi.
Aware of the machinery barriers to this vision, our co-founders started experimenting with using local materials to create easily moveable light manual drilling rigs and taking them to remote villages not accessible by drilling vehicles such as those across un-bridged rivers.
A challenging journey that excited our co-founders but reaching out to such excluded villages and offering a practical solution to their safe water access barriers was highly motivating to their goal to service the left-out.
Gradually, the locally made manual rig successfully drilled boreholes in the left-out villages, enabling the last-mile families to access safe water for the first time in their lives.

The Board
More than advisors, our board challenges assumptions, strengthen decisions, and keep the mission grounded in real-world impact. They help us work better, for the families we serve.
