The Problem

1 of every 3 villages in Malawi have no access to safe water because rural water supply services cannot reach villages located in tough geographical terrains.

Our Solution

Safe water access is not achieved through a single intervention. It requires practical systems, local ownership, and structures designed to last. Our approach brings these elements together—ensuring access is not only delivered but lasts over time.

1

Identify left-out villages

We use spatial data and field surveys to identify villages that are isolated and forgotten in rural water supply services.

2

Reach and deliver water access

Using light moveable drilling machines that access villages located in tough terrains with poor roads.

3

Build communituy management systems

We train Water User Associations to operate Village Water Banks (VWBs) and oversee local water systems.

4

Strengthen local water enterprises artisans

We support local water technicians to provide reliable repair services that last long.

Our Impact

It starts with family health, thereby restoring time and strength leading to improved productivity. This strengthens entire communities. The impact spreads — village by village — until none is left behind.
